For Immediate Release

The Dispute Resolution Board Foundation’s Region 1 Board of Directors, representing U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean, has published a revised set of Model Documents for implementation of Dispute Review Boards (DRB) and Dispute Resolution Advisors (DRA). The documents are provided to project owners implementing DRBs and DRAs for their projects and reflect current industry best practices.

“Owners benefit from adopting proven best practices for their DRB and DRA documents," said DRBF Past President and Task Force Chair Kurt Dettman. “DRBF has implemented feedback from owners and industry users to ensure this updated suite of documents reflect the latest thinking for effective practices and procedures.”

The documents include: Contract Specifications for both DRBs and DRAs; DRB and DRA Agreements; DRB and DRA Operating Procedures; and Specification for ad hoc DRBs. In addition, the set includes a Rider for Virtual Proceedings for use with existing DRB contracts.

The documents are available as Word files for customization by the user for specific projects and can be downloaded from the DRBF website at www.drb.org
