25 & 26 February focused on DRBs – DRBF Region 1 / US and Canada practice with non-binding recommendations. 

This workshop is designed for those new to the DRB process, interested in serving on DRBs, and those implementing DRBs for the first time.

Explore the basic tenets of the Dispute Review Board process:

  • History and background of Dispute Review Boards 
  • Working with DRBs
  • Selection and appointment of DRB members
  • Dispute Review Board agreement
  • Dispute avoidance
  • Site visits and meetings
  • Advisory Opinions
  • Dispute resolution
  • Referral of dispute to DRB: procedure, effective presentations, hearings
  • Recommendations
***This course qualifies for 8 CEH Hours with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers and 8 CLE Credits (Intermediate) with the Florida Bar.***

Participants will receive a workbook, a certificate of completion, and may qualify for continuing education credits.
