DRB Administration & Practice Training Workshops

The DRBF, in collaboration with the Florida Transportation Builders Association (FTBA) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), is offering the DRB Administration & Practice Training Workshop program for all current and prospective Dispute Resolution Board practitioners who would like to serve on DRBs for FDOT. This training is required for anyone who is on the current approved FDOT list and wishes to remain on the list, and anyone who wants to be added to the list for future opportunities.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

History and Purpose of DRBs
DRB Three-Party Agreement
Code of Ethical Conduct for DRB Members
Nomination and Appointment of DRB Members
Site Visits & Meetings
Dispute Resolution Hearings
Advisory Opinions
FDOT DRB Operating Procedures
Contract Specifications

Workshop Fee: US $100

DRBF Florida Chapter Members have this fee covered by your Chapter membership. Please use Discount Code DRBFMEMBER at checkout. You must be an active member with the DRBF and the Florida Chapter at the time of signup and must be logged in to use this discount code.

Workshops will be offered at three separate dates and locations in Florida. Each workshop runs from 10am - 4pm with a 45 minute break for lunch on your own. These are in-person workshops and there will be no virtual option and no recordings will be available. Only one session needs to be attended.
