Mr. Wightman's career as an engineer, manager and construction executive in heavy and underground construction spans more than 45 years. It encompasses subway, highway and rail tunnels, water supply and wastewater conveyance, hydroelectric development, nuclear waste disposal and mining applications.
He serve for many years as Vice President of Underground Construction for a major international contractor and was responsible for construction of major civil works, both in the USA and abroad.
He is a member of The Moles, ASCE, SME, DRFB and UCA. Served as President of American Underground Construction Assoc. and Chaired the Rapid Excavation and Tunneling Conference.
